Winter's Hottest Social Trend Heads South-West as Sydney Women Swap Bars for Creative Experiences

Forget crowded bars and expensive city nights out. This winter, more Sydneysiders are seeking meaningful experiences that combine creativity, connection and a change of scenery, and one South-West Sydney venue is bringing the trend to life.
Camden Valley Inn has launched a six-week winter program designed to give visitors a reason to leave the city behind and embrace a different kind of social outing, featuring creative workshops, live entertainment, country-inspired experiences and weekly food and drink specials.
Among the highlights are hat-burning workshops hosted by The Brush Bar, allowing guests to design and personalise their own cowboy hats as part of one of the fastest-growing creative trends sweeping social media and event spaces.
The workshops join a packed calendar of activities including Pinot & Picasso paint-and-sip sessions, country music weekends, whiskey tastings and family-friendly events, creating a destination experience for groups of friends, couples and families alike.

Set among Camden's picturesque countryside, the venue offers visitors the opportunity to pair creative activities with long lunches, cocktails and live entertainment, all less than an hour from Sydney's CBD.
Camden Valley Inn General Manager Kayla Seeney said people were increasingly prioritising experiences that offered more than a traditional night out.
"People are looking for activities that bring them together and create lasting memories," she said.
"Whether it's designing your own cowboy hat, enjoying a paint and sip session or simply spending time with friends in a beautiful setting, guests are seeking experiences they can genuinely connect with."
Seeney said the winter program had been designed to offer something for every type of visitor.
"We want to see everyone coming down to Camden Valley Inn and having a fun, relaxed experience this winter, whether that's creating something unique, enjoying live music, or just spending quality time with friends and family," she said.
With rolling green hills, open-air spaces and a calendar packed with events, Camden Valley Inn is positioning itself as a winter day-trip destination for Sydneysiders looking to escape the city without travelling far from home.
